DentalSource, Inc. ("DentalSource," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of the licensed dental professionals and other users who access our platform. DentalSource does not accept Protected Health Information (PHI). Do not enter any patient-identifying information into DentalSource. Our platform is designed for general clinical decision support — not for patient-specific queries involving identifiable patient data.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or cookies that enable behavioral advertising or retargeting. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent; however, some features of the Services may not function properly if you do so.
DentalSource explicitly does not accept Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA, and is not designed or intended to be used as a HIPAA-covered service. Our platform is designed for general clinical decision support based on publicly available dental literature — not for queries involving identifiable patient data.
We have built-in safeguards designed to detect and flag queries that appear to contain PHI (such as patient names, dates of birth, or other identifiers). If such content is detected, the query may be rejected or flagged.
By using DentalSource, you agree not to submit any patient-identifying information, patient records, or PHI through the Services. If you inadvertently submit PHI, please contact us immediately at peter@dentalsource.ai so that we can take appropriate steps to address the situation.
DentalSource is not a Business Associate under HIPAA and does not execute Business Associate Agreements (BAAs). Do not use DentalSource in any manner that requires a BAA.
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights or freedoms, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.

Email addresses collected through waitlist signups are retained until you request deletion or we discontinue the relevant service. Anonymized and aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement purposes.
DentalSource is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a minor without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
